| SC/ST Federation condemns non induction of Aslam in cabinet | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU , JULY 16: All J&K ST/SC Student Federation has condemned the non induction of Choudhary Mohd Aslam in state cabinet.
Addressing media persons, State President of federation Haq Nawaz Choudhary criticized the statement of Prof Saif-Ud-din Soz in which he said, three gujjar leaders are already given representation.
“I want to ask Prof Soz whether he has given party mandate to Ch Aslam on the basis of caste, or a candidate of Congress Party,”he questioned.
He said Aslam is the senior most honest and faithful leader of whole of the state particularly Poonch district he should be provided representation in state cabinet.
Nawaz Choudhary appealed Sonia Gandhi, AICC president to personally intervene into the matter and induct Ch Aslam in Cabinet otherwise it will create a great setback to the Congress party in J&K.
Among others who were present in the press conference were Shah Jahan, Mushtaq Ajaz, Ashafaq Ahmed, Gaffor Ahmed and others.
