| Inter-district Kabaddi tourney begins | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
KARGIL, July 16: Three-day inter-district state level under-17 boys’ kabaddi tournament went underway today under the banner of Department of Youth Services and Sports (DYSS) at Khree Sultan Choo Sports Stadium, here.
About 250 athletes from 17 districts of the state are taking part in this team event. Executive Councilor for Rural Development, Aga Syed Kzaim Sabree was the chief guest on the occasion, who declared open the mega event. Deputy Director (Activities) of the DYSS, SS Bali was among other prominent people present in the opening function.
Speaking on the occasion, chief guest lauded the efforts of DYSS for conducting the state level tournament in the far off district of Kargil.
