| BCCI man Daljit to train J&K curators | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT JAMMU, July 16: Chairman of the Wicket and Grounds Committee of the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI), Daljit Singh shall be imparting the training among 30 selected people in the two-day `Curators’ Course’ slated to be held from July 18 at Sher-e-Kashmir Cricket Stadium, Srinagar. “Earlier, scheduled for three days from July 17, the course shall now be held for two days from July 18. During the two days, experienced Daljit Singh will impart training to about 30 selected persons from the state,” an official of the Jammu and Kashmir Cricket Association (JKCA) told SAN. Sharing more information the JKCA official said, Daljit Singh shall land in Srinagar tomorrow, a day in advance. Since the particulars of these aspiring candidates are being prepared for presentation to Daljit Singh, it has been learnt from the insiders that around 15 trainees, attending the course, belong to Jammu wing of the Association. Meanwhile, the JKCA has also finalized the schedule for four-day umpiring course, again at Srinagar, from July 27.
