| Three days workshop for teachers held | | |

The Banyan Tree School, Jeevan Nagar conducted three days workshop for teacher from 15th July to 17 July 2009 in the school premises.
A Maths workshop was conducted by the Mr. Gurdev Singh in which he cleared the basic concepts of Maths and gave different tips and alternate methods to make Maths more easy and interesting for students.
An it workshop was also conducted by NIIT Delhi based on awareness of computers and enhancement of teaching through technology.
An English workshop was conducted by Mr. Seva Singh in which more stress was given on phonetics, pronunciation and use of dictionary.
The workshop was concluded with a very interesting and informative topic i.e. Disaster Management in School. Use of first Aid and Operation of different gazettes were shown through projector. This workshop tells us how we can protest ourselves and others by making use of all the simple objects which we use in our daily life
