| JUTA for implementation of 6th pay recommendations | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, July 17: Expressing its concern over the delay in the issuance of notification regarding the implementation of 6th Pay Commission recommendations, the JUTA today urged upon the authorities to implement the recommendations in toto expeditiously.
JUTA President Prof. Dalip Singh Jamwal in a meeting of JUTA office bearers held here today, said that while issuing the notification of the 6th Pay Commission recommendation, the authorities should also consider the enhancement of retirement age and other allowances mentioned in the Ministry of HRD notification.
rof Singh said the JUTA in coordination with other three Universities of the state, will plan a further course of action if the Pay Commission is not implemented in toto. The meeting was attended by Prof Vijay Dev Singh (Vice President), Dr Pankaj K Srivastava (Secretary) and Dr Kavita Suri (Jt Secretary).
