| Finance Commission visiting Doda, Kishtwar on July 21 | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
SRINAGAR, JULY 18–The Chairman, Jammu and Kashmir State Finance Commission accompanied by its members are scheduled to visit Doda and Kishtwar districts on July 21st and 22nd respectively. The Commission is expected to convene the joint sessions of public representatives and district officers to review the developmental pace of twin districts. The Commission may also record the evidences with respect to developmental imbalances and employment backlog. The district officers have been directed to attend the joint sessions with full preparation in order to apprise the commission about the financial and physical targets and achievements.
The District Development Commissioners of respective districts are asked to prepare a note on the overall developmental scenario of their districts and identify the problems and proposals of the area.
The participants are also asked to submit written memoranda to the Commission on the subject matters.
