| Bhim says ‘music to my ears’ as nurses hoot at him | | | Early Times Report Jammu, July 18: Prof. Bhim Singh, Chairman, National Panthers Party today visited the parents of newly-born male child (Viplav) who safely reached back to his parents after his four day disappearance from highly security covered hospital room of the hospital. Anita Thakur General Secretary, Rajesh Padgotra Provincial General Secretary, Ravinder Pathania Kathua District President had taken direct action against the administration and the police for the safe return of Viplav , who was abducted at 7.00 p.m. on 13th July, 2009 in the presence of running cameras and hospital staff. While declaring special awards for the three Panthers Party leaders Prof. Bhim Singh said that child could not have been abducted without the connivance of somebody from within the hospital. Some nurses started raising slogans in support of the Chief Minister and against the Panthers Party Chief. Amused by the slogans, Prof. Bhim Singh stopped for a while and thanked the slogans raising nurses for shouting against him. He told them, "I feel very happy to hear your sweet voice raising slogans against me, may be it is for the first time in my life and I feel flattered." The poor nurses got blushed and faded away from the Congress crowd. Singh asked the administration to hold judicial enquiry on the kidnapping of Viplav and the real culprits involved in the crime so that no such tragedy shall occur in future. Singh described it most shameful that 3 to 5 newly-born babies are sandwiched in one cubator under 40 degree temperature with only one nurse attached to the cubators room to look after 10 to 15 babies.
