| Students body wants Home Ministry for Soz | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, July 18: United Unemployed Students Federation urged upon the Prime Minister Dr Manmohan Singh and AICC president Sonia Gandhi to induct the JKPCC Chief Prof Saif-ud-Din in Union Cabinet as Home Minister.
Addressing a meeting organized to discuss the political development in the state, Romesh Sharma, president of the federation termed Soz as a strong man of the state who possesses all capacities to rein in the situation of state.
Sharma said that the state is passing through political crisis as the Kashmir province has witnessed 47 days long protest and the people of state has suffered directly or indirectly. He also said that state government had taken a long time to take the appropriate decision in the Shopian case due to political immaturity. Among others who addressed the meeting including Parveen Raina, Harmeet Singh, Manu Mehra, Iqbal Singh, Abhijeet Kumar Sharma and others.
