Jammu, September 27: A live mortar shell, used in 1971 Indo-Pak war, was found by some labourers on the Jammu-Pathankote National Highway in Kathua district, disrupting traffic for over an hour, official sources said.
Labourers engaged in digging work on the highway found the shell in Jatwal area of the district early today, they said.
The Army personnel later defused it after they informed by police, sources said. |
