Jammu, July 18: Dr. Rakesh Mahajan, consultant Apollo Diagnostic Centre, Gandhi Nagar Jammu, has bagged the prestigious “Rashtriya Gaurav Award – 2009” of India international friendship society (IIFS) New Delhi, for his outstanding services in the field of medical gastroenterology and abdominal ultrasonography. As per a release, Rashtriya Gaurav Award and certificate of excellence were presented to him by R.L. Bhatia, Former Governor of Bihar in the annual ceremony of IIFS held at New Delhi.
This award is given to few of the extra-ordinary personalities who have rendered specialized services with excellence in various fields like science & technology, education, industry, fine arts, politics, social work, sports.
