| Contractor beaten in MA stadium,serious | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, July 18: A contractor was beaten here in MA stadium in full public view.He was rushed to GMC hospital where doctors confirmed him serious. The incident occurred in broad day light when some youths in a Santro car bearing registration number JK02S,1111 reached at MA stadium and beat the contractor to pulp. The contractor identified as Ajay Sharma son of Raja resident of the area was reportedly going to MA stadium office when he was intercepted by some youths with sharp edged weapons and they beat him to pulp. After having information police team reached on the spot and rushed him to GMC hospital.The reason behind the incident is stated to be government contract. Contractor was phoned by one Dinesh Sahwany and told him to not accept the tender which is being floated in the coming 15 August.Contractor was going to file an application when he was beaten.The treatment of the contractor was on in the GMC hospital,till further reports came in.
