Jackson’s summer camp -2009 concludes

Jammu, July 19: M. Jackson dancing institute today held closing cenremony for its mega cultural event “Summer camp…..2009 (dance, singing, yoga, modeling and drama)” at Abhinav theater Jammu. Prof. Chaman Lal Gupta (MLA, Jammu West)was the chief guest on the occasion. The whole concept of the event was designed by Hitesh Badyal and the event was highly designed to promote art and culture of J&K among the youth and children, according to the designer, this event will definitely give new dimensions to the art and culture of J&K among the youth because the summer camp provided the Dogri, Kashmiri, Punjabi, free style and folk dances and music training, which was the main attraction of the camp. Summer camp was started at 1st June 09 at M Jackson dancing institute and it was a 2 month long camp. 80 participants took part in this camp.
J.R. Sharma (Jackson) president of the group welcome the people and the chief guest, Sharma added to his speech that he provided dance, singing, yoga, modeling and drama training to the children and youth during this camp. Closing ceremony event and this summer camp will provide stage exposure and confidence among the participants. M Jackson cultural society also provided free training to the children who are below poverty line, these students are Fiza, Pooja, Priya, Aryan, Cheery and Nischal. Free life time membership was provided to Surbhi, who was a god gifted dancer according to the organizer.
Program started with a Dogri dance, performed by 70 participants from the summer camp. The song was “Kadre ne dese pyar dogre” other guest item performed by the artists from the Jackson group. Children (Age group 2 to 15 years) performed on hindi music that were “Race Sanso Ki”, Koi Ladhaki Hai”, “Ishq Sumandar”, “Moja Hi Moja” etc.., which was spectacular to watch. Solo singing was performed by Sharad Pandita and Akshita. Yoga, modeling and drama was also performed on the stage. Singers were trained by Ramesh Parwana, Yoga was trained by Rashmi Kumari, Drama was directed by Lucky, Models were trained by Hitesh Badyal and dance training was given by J.R. Sharma. A special Micheal Jackson dance no. was performed by J.R. Sharma (Jackson), this was a tribute to king of Pop-M Jackson.
