| Central university demanded for Jammu | | |

Jammu, July 19: Ashok Sharma president foundation for peace and social justice has demanded central university be set up in Jammu. He said that it was due to the laudable initiatives and efforts of the then chief minister that the central government had agreed to establish these two elite institutions of higher and quality professional learning, in the state, adding that these need to be made functional on ground and the boys and girls not made to suffer by the machinations of some vested interest elements.
He urged the UPA government to sanction two campuses of the central university and two of the Indian institute of management, one each in Kashmir and Jammu divisions.
