| Women employees of Karan market lack bathroom facilities | | |

Jammu, July 19: Karan market, a busy business centre of winter capital has no toilet facilities for women employees working in various establishments established in the market.
As per source bathroom used by the lady staff of the market was sealed by the Dharmarth trust on April 6, 2009 with the intension to be sold out to a influential persons, who will later on used it as a shop. It is not only ladies bathroom, even Dharmarth trust sold out number of space which include two bathrooms, alleviator section even under ground parking were too. The women employees and even shop owners of the market have urged upon the trust, that bathrooms both for men and women be constructed without any delay, especially for women employees as they at present fed lot of problems. Employees and shopkeeper have urged upon the state administration to look into the matter, and taken action towards this.
When scribe tried to contact the Dharmarth trust regarding the matter, there was no respond from their side.
