| J&K is integral part of India: Chaman | | | Early Times Report Jammu, July 20: Emphasizing the need for making it clear to one and all that Jammu and Kashmir is legally and constitutionally an irrevocable part of India, the former Union minister and leader of the BJP legislators party, Prof Chaman Lal Gupta has ridiculed the statements of those who are terming this as disputed and talking that its future should be decided keeping in view the wishes of the people of Kashmir. As per a release, addressing a meeting of the party activists at Old Jani Pura here, Prof Gupta alleged such utterances are emerging as the ruling congress was never having a Kashmir policy and then it had been operating under internal and external pressures. In this regard, he particularly referred to the joint statement of the two Prime Minister viz, India and Pakistan at Sham-ul-Sheikh, and said that Dr. Manmohan Singh had been saying something else and the de-linking of cross border terror from the resuming of composite dialogue is the intriguing proof of it. Referring to the statements of US leader Hillary Clinton, Prof. Gupta said that he had rightly confirmed that Pakistan has come to be epicenter of terrorism but in this regard America cannot be fully absolved as U S realized this fact only after terrorist attack in their own country. He said that US authorities should ensure now that American aid to Pakistan for fighting terror is again misused against India, especially in Jammu and Kashmir. He said as far as this state is concerned, its future was decided the Day in 1947, when the Maharaja of Jammu and Kashmir had signed the instrument of accession with India union moreover, it was repeatedly the representatives of the state assembly and others went under of the constitution to defined the unity and integrity of the country. Even the secessionist leaders like Ali Shah Geelani and others are under oat of the constitutions and they are still drawing pensions and other benefits of being part of the India he added and observed that their cries for plebiscite are nothing but to befool their supporters and blackmail in the country. Prof. Gupta decried the slogans of Autonomy and those of self rule and said elements were trying to fish in the trouble waters and indirectly helping the forces hostile to India. He strongly pleaded for removal of all barriers between this state and rest of the country to ensure free flow of the Indian constitution in Jammu and Kashmir, the release added.
