| Leaders demands probe in light scandal | | |

Jammu, July 20: Desraj Gupta secretary general, Rashtriya Janta Dal J&K, has demanded probe in purchasing scandal of high mast light in Ram nagar. He said how these lights available in the market at much lower rates have been purchased at double rates with a view to making easy buck out of the public money. He further expressed concern over the municipal committee Ramnagar purchasing the said lights without publication of tender notice. However, R.S. Pathania, advocate has also demanded the mast light scandal. He said that Municipal committee which is involved in fraudulent purchase of mast lights has nine out of eleven members belonging to Panther party. He said the people of Ramnagar hold the local municipal committee and the M.L.A equally responsible for the multi-lac scandal. He also demanded to the intervene in the matter.
