| Javed lays foundation stone of 3 bridges | | | Early Times Report Srinagar, July 21- As many as twenty-one development works are under execution through JKPCC in Baramulla district at a cost of Rs 49.74 crore with an expenditure of over Rs 8 crore booked on these works till date. These works include 7 bridges, 2 district hospitals, 2 degree colleges, University Campus Delina besides, a computer centre and 2 ITI’s. Besides this 8 bridges are coming up at a cost of Rs 18 crore through R&B Department. This was told during laying of foundation stone of 3 bridges by Minister of State for R&B, Health & Agriculture, Javed Ahmad Dar at Warpora, Chaupora, Saidpora and Tragpora villages in Rafiabad constituency today. These bridges are coming up at a cost of Rs 2 crore and are expected to be completed this year. Earlier, the Minister inaugurated one Middle School in a far-off village of Rafiabad. The building has been completed at a cost of Rs 5 lakh under Serva Siksha Abhiyan (SSA) scheme. Addressing several functions during his day long visit of his constituency, the minister said that socio-economic upliftment and development was the basic motive of the present government led by the dynamic Chief Minister, Omar Abdullah. Asking the people particularly the youth to strengthen the hands of the government, the minister said that the State would touch the skies of success and development with their cooperation. Minister also interacted with various deputations who put-forth various demands confronting them. Dar assured the deputationists of sympathetic treatment and redressal of their grievances in a phased manner.
