| Lady dies, 22 injured in road mishaps | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT SRINAGAR, JULY 22: A forty five year old lady died, while other twenty two persons including seven Yatris were injured in separate accidents at different places in Kashmir Valley since last night. Official sources said that a Scooter (JK03/7862) hit and injured a lady Zaiba 45 years w/o Ghulam Mohiudin Mir R/o Indo Achabal at Lazibal. Injured was shifted to district hospital Anantnag where she succumbed to her injuries An accident took place between Mazda passenger vehicle (JK01E/2238) and Motorcycle (JK04/3830) at National Highway near Lasjan Bypass Srinagar, in which motorcyclist Gh. Rasool S/o Ab. Rahim R/o Lasjan got injured and was shifted to hospital. One Tata vehicle (JK01E/3498) and passenger matador (JKo1E/2238) collided with each other at Wadipora crossing falling under the jurisdiction of police Station Budgam, resulting injuries to six passengers. The injured have been shifted to hospital for treatment. Truck (JK09/4386) hit and injured motorcyclist Ashiq Ahmad Rather S/o Gulam Qadir R/o Khaipora Tangmarg and his brother Gh. Nabi Rather riding on motorcycle bearing registration number JK05A/7784 near Jeelkadal National Highway falling under the jurisdiction of police station Pattan Baramulla. The injured have been referred to SKIMS Soura for treatment. One Yatri bus (CH03A/8595) turned turtle near Sumbal National Highway Ganderbal resulting in the injuries to seven Yatris. The injured have been shifted to hospital for treatment. One load carrier (JK01L/5270) hit and injured a pedestrian namely Sonuallah Bhat S/o Habibullah Bhat R/o Nundreshi Colony Bemina at Bemina crossing Srinagar falling under the jurisdiction of police station Batamaloo. The injured discharged from hospital after treatment. Police has registered a case in this regard. One Tipper (JK04A/4216) collided with one load carrier bearing registration number JK01M/2542 at Qamarwari near Bemina Woolen Mills Srinagar resulting injuries to four persons. One Tata Sumo (JK05A/1967) skid off near Fakhir Bagh Chandoosa Baramulla resulting minor injuries to the driver. Police has registered separate cases in at concerned police jurisdictions and taken up investigations.
