Early Times Report Srinagar, July 23: With almost all preparations in place, the Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly is all set to host its longest session of last two years on July 27. During last two years, the assembly could not have a single session for more than a fortnight due to ‘innovative’ plans of the government or disruption by the opposition. The Legislative Assembly Secretariat has issued provisional calendar for the sittings of the 2nd session of the 11th Legislative Assembly commencing from July 27, 2009. As per the Calendar, Government Business will be conducted on 27th and 28th of July whileas the discussions on Private Members Resolutions will be on 29th of July and 3rd of August, 2009. The discussions on Private Members Bill will be on Friday the 7th of August. Presentation of Annual Financial Statement of Expenditure for 2009-2010 will be on 10th of August whileas General Discussion on Budget and reply those to would be held on 11th, 12th, and 17th of August. Discussions on Demands for Grants, will be on 18th, 19th, 20th, 21st, 22nd, 24th, 25th, 26th, 27th and 28th of August, 2009. Appropriation Bills and Private Members Bills would be presented on 29th and 31st of August, 2009. Discussions on Government Business, if any, will take place on Ist September, 2009.
