| BMS oppose rules frames under RTI act | | |

Jammu, July 23: The Bhartiya Mazdoor Sangh (BMS) state unit has criticized the Jammu and Kashmir govt. in framing rule under RTI act where in govt. has deliverily created hurdle for common public by imposing Rs. 100/- as fee for form an application and Rs. 10 per page for obtaining information under RTI act. Whereas central govt. RTI act has framed simple rules and moreover fee is Rs 10/- has been fixed as application fee and Rs 2 per page charges. As per press release it is alleged that state govt. is not serious to give the vital right to common public and has discouraged the common public by imposing such huge fee. BMS has appealed to chief minister to implement this act at par with central act so that purpose of RTI act can be achieved.
