| Scholarship offered to meritorious students | | |

Jammu, July 23
Swami Vivekanand Group of Institutes today offered scholarship to meritorious students of Jammu region.
Addressing media persons, Ashwani Garg, chairman, stated that we are in search of meritorious and talented students from Jammu and hopefully the students of Jammu will live upto the expectation.
The institute has reserved 25 per cent in different streams for the students hailing from Jammu and Kashmir, he added.
He added that we are offering scholarship to the students, having Percentage more than 60% in relevant stream from any recognized university for the courses like MBA, MCA, PGDM, B Pharmacy, BBA, BCA approved by PTU and AICTE New Delhi.
Swami Vivekanand Group of Institutes is running Premier Institute of Chandigarh Region. Established in 2004 and situated on Chandigarh-Patiala National Highway, the Group is running under Graduate and Post Graduate programs like B.Tech.(Engineering) in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics and Communications, Mechanical branches, B.PHARMACY, MBA, MCA, PGDM, BBA & BCA courses with present strength of 3800 student.
Garg disclosed that about 93 students of Jammu region had got admission at SVGOI in 2006 while this number further registered growth with 122 students started their education through SVGOI. We are hopeful that over 200 students would come to SVGOI for admission for current session of 2009-10, he said.
The motto of SVGOI is educating the students to become job creators rather than job seekers.
