| VK manch hail’s raid on factories manufacturing duplicate drug | | | Early Times Report Jammu, July 25: The business cell of Vichar Kranti (VK) Manch international has hailed the police for conducting raids on godowns, stores and factories manufacturing, spices and selling in the market which are highly injuries to health. In a press statement issued here today after the meeting of the cell chaired by the cell Chairman, Inderjeet Khajuria, expressed serious concern over adulterated desi ghee and spurious drugs as well as duplicate spices and other items being sold in the market on the brand names of some companies. Manch has extended its full support and cooperation to the police, the drug controller, food inspectors and other authorities concerned in identifying and booking the unscrupulous and anti social elements, who are playing with the health and lives of the people by producing and selling adulterated spurious items, including wheat atta, sweets, ice-creams, cold drinks, medicines and other items of daily use in the households. The business cell of the manch has demanded that such raids and booking of the culprits should not be a mere publicity stunt, taken exceptionally, but it should be a regular feature for which all the concerned agencies and mainly the police force should always remain alert. As per press release the cell has appreciated the union health minister, Ghulam Nabi Azad’s content that adulterators and manufacturers of spurious drugs, should be sentenced for life time and fined heavily. The other who attended the meeting included Satpal Kranti, ML Sharma, Pawan Gupta, Ashwani Sharma and Baldev Raj etc.
