| Rs.5 crore released for development works in Baramulla | | |
Srinagar, September 27 – About Rs. five crore have been released to executing agencies for completion of on going development works in Baramulla district.
This was disclosed by District Development Commissioner, Mr. Baseer Ahmad Khan while chairing a district officers meeting at Baramulla today convened to review the implementation of decisions taken in the District Development Board Meeting Baramulla.
Regarding opening of 10 first aid centres in each constituency of the district, it was stated that the matter has been taken up with the Administrative department. Project report for five schemes under PHE sector for Sidiq Colony Chewa Palpora, Sunburan, Gulshanpora, Nowpora and Nowpora Kalan has been formulated to be founded by NABARD. About up-gradation of middle schools of Gujran, Kanzalwan and Buglider, of Gurez tehsil to the level of high schools, it was informed that the matter has been taken up with the Education department.
Speaking on the occasion, the District Development Commissioner stressed upon the officer to utilize the released funds in a judicious and transparent manner.
