| JKB-Bajaj Allianz relationship gaining momentum | | | Early Times Report Jammu, July 25- Jammu and Kashmir Bank and Bajaj Allianz General Insurance completed seven years of fruitful relationship. The bank which entered in to banc-assurance relationship from 2002 onwards has been going strength to strength. Addressing media persons here today Tapan Singhel, President, Bajaj Allianz General Insurance, said, ‘We are happy to be associated with a premier bank like J & K Bank. Over the years of our relationship, we have always strived to offer the best service to the bank's customers and have launched several customized products. It will be our common goal to take this relationship further and go that extra mile to extend our reach to the remotest parts of the state’. Bajaj Allianz General Insurance has been at the forefront of all crises that happened like earthquake and other perils, to be at the customer’s side by speedy disbursal of claims. Bajaj Allianz paid claims in excess of Rs 23 crore in the last fiscal for the customers of J&K Bank and has already incurred/ paid claims in excess of 5 crore in the present fiscal. On the occasion, a cheque worth of Rs 10 lakhs was given to Sharfarz Khan for construction of building at Doda. In order to serve the customers, we have set up help desks in over 35 locations like Srinagar, Anantnag, Budgam, Kupwara, Baramulla , Kathua , Jammu, Udhampur, Doda, Kishtwar to help customers to buy the right insurance product directly from the branches of the J&K Bank, Singhel said..
