| ASSI felicitates Revenue Minister | | | Early Times Report JAMMU, JULY 25 -Minister for Revenue and Relief, Mr. Raman Bhalla today donated an ambulance to Government Hospital, Gandhi Nagar, Jammu. Director Health Dr. Jasbir Singh, Medical Superintendent, Dr. Vinod Gupta, medical and para-medical staff members of the hospital were present on the occasion.
Addressing the gathering, Mr. Bhalla said that government is taking keen interest to provide all facilities in the SDHs, CHCs, PHCs and dispensaries in equipping them with latest techniques. He asked the medical and para-medical fraternity to provide best medicare facilities to ailing patients so that they do not face any inconvenience.
Regarding the construction of Central University at, Jammu, Mr Bhalla said that the Chief Minister has already clarified and set aside the apprehensions about its locations. He said that the government has submitted the proposal for sanction of two universities one each at Jammu and Srinagar.
Later, the Association of Small Scale Industries (ASSI) felicitated the Minister on his induction in Cabinet at a function held at Bhawan. The President, ASSI apprised the Minister about the problems including revival of central package of incentives to J&K industry, Proprietary rights under Roshni Act, maintenance of leading roads from Nanak Nagar to Industrial area and Trikuta Nagar canal to Gangyal, lanes, by-lanes, around industrial area, Gangyal, Maintenance of Londoi Choi nallah and rehabilitation of polythene industry.
The Minister gave patient hearing to him and assured these would be looked into on priority basis.
