Jammu, July 25: Tehsil, Thatri development front (TTDF) have leveled serious charges against the horticulture department in purchasing and supplying of inferior saplings to farmers in the tehsil. As per hand out, president of front Kuldeep Kumar Rao 90% of sapling fails to grow despite all precautions by the farmers as directed by the department. He said agriculture deptt has no depots in rural areas, due to which people face problems, as seeds and fertilizers are kept at tehsil headquarters. He said people have to spend a lot of time and money to get income certificates, permanent resident certificate etc, this all is due to corruption at tehsil office.
