| Information deptt. organizes debate on importance of education at Ramban | | |

Ramban, July 26: A debate on ‘Importance of Education’, was held at Govt. Girls middle school at Maitra, Ramban here the other day. About a dozen of school children took part in the debate and spoke in length about the topic.
The judging committee was headed by headmaster of school Abdul Rasheed Daing awarded Ist, 2nd, 3rd to Sunita Bali of class 7th, Sunil Singh of class 8th and Amrik Singh of class 8th respectively. Other contentents were given consolation prizes.
On the occasion on cultural programme was also held. The artists MohanLal, Nazir Ahmad, Abdul Latief, Mohd Iqbal etc presented colourful programme which thrilled the students etc present on the occasion. Speaking on the occasion headmaster express gratitude to information department in holding debate in the school, which will courage the students in their day to day activities.
