| OBC’s for implementation of 27% reservation quota | | | Early Times Report
Poonch, July 26: Other Backward Classes Association of the district in an emergency meeting held under the chairmanship of Advisor Mohammad Jaman has appealed the state and central governments to take immediate action with regard to the implementation of 27 per cent reservation for the community. The ban on inter- district recruitment in the reserve category is an attack on the Constitutional rights of the depressed people, the Association said. The Association has also appealed for issuance of OBC certificates so that the people get relief as provided under the relevant rules.
The meeting among others was attended by Mohammad Bashir, Yashpal, Mohammad Rashid, H.D. Behtab, Ashok Kumar, Ghulam Rasool and Tersem Lal.
