| Civil Defence organizes prize distribution function | | |
Srinagar, September 27 - Civil Defence organized a prize distribution ceremony at its control centre Kothibagh, Srinagar today.
Inspector General of Police, Home Guards & Civil Defence Mr. Navin Aggarwal was the Chief Guest. He distributed cash reward and commendation certificates among the Civil Defence wardens/ Volunteers who had participated in the Independence Day parade and took part in various rescue and relief activities during recent floods in Srinagar.
On the occasion, the Mr. Aggarwal appreciated the role and interest taken by the volunteers in organizing various programmes. Chief warden highlighted the specific activities carried by the volunteers and assured that in future the volunteers will continue to serve with same dedication, zeal and spirit. |
