7/26/2009 11:01:30 PM

Early Times Report
Kathua, July 26:
People of village Chak Ludan (400 meters form the railway track on Janglote link road) staged protest against the administration fot its failure to solve the existing road problems of the area. Protestors alleged that there was not even a single road connected to the city. They said that they were settled in this area from the last thirty years and are walking on Pakhdandi (unconstructed roads) along the railway track, but, now the department of railway makes the double line and the Pakhdandi was capture by them, they alleged. Children are the biggest hit victims as during the raining days they could not come out of their houses to reach their schools due to absence of road connectivity. They also said that marriages in the village are being celebrated due non availability of approach to the village. People urged upon the concerned authorities to take the immediate cognizance for providing road connectivity to the village for the better interest of villagers.
