| All CIC’s connected to CM Secretariat grievance cell | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Doda, July 27- All the eight Community Information Centres (CIC) functioning from the Block Development Offices in district Doda have been connected to the grievances cell set up in the Chief Minister’s Secretariat .
According to District Development Commissioner Doda Syed Sharief-ud-Din, who held a meeting of Block Development Officers & CIC operators, said the CIC’s connected to the Chief Minister’s Secretariat are at Ghat, Bhagwah, Assar, Marmat, Thathri, Gandoh, Bhaderwah and Gundna
He said that this is a step ahead in bridging the gap between the public and administration and strengthening the concept of e-governance. The DDC on the occasion directed all the concerned CIC operators to ensure their presence in the centres from 9.30am to 5 p.m where people can register their complaints. The complaints submitted will be directly reviewed by grievance cell and will be marked conveyed to the respective departments and Deputy Commissioners for their time bound redressal
He said that this facility can also be availed in the office of the Deputy Commissioner Doda and directed the concerned BDO’s to submit weekly report to his office regarding the work done.
