| Dir Agri reviews progress under RKVY, DAP at Bani | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Kathua, July 27- The Director Agriculture, Jammu, Vinod Bala Sharma who was on a 3-day tour of the district, inspected various development activities of the department in the field and interacted with groups of farmers and public representatives of the area . Expressing satisfaction over crop condition in the area, she advised the farmers especially in the Sarthal area to expand the area under vegetables which have the potential to bring about their socio-economic development. She asked the CAO to tap district plan resources for the purpose. She advised the farmers to be quick in giving their written demand to the department about requirement of approved tractors besides power operated farm machinery and equipments with specifications so that these could be got arranged from J&K State Agro Industries Development Corporation .
