| NC flays PDP’s action, demands Mehbooba, Beig’s resignation from assembly | | | Early Times Report Jammu, July 28: A large number of workers and senior leaders of National Conference (NC) in a meeting held at Sher-e-kashmir Bhawan chaired by provincial president Rattan Lal Gupta in a one voice condemn strongly the blatant lie of PDP with a purpose to malign and damage the clean image and reputation of chief minister Omar Abdullah. Gupta said it is intriguing that when PDP was in the government, it never alleged into such accusations and row when PDP has lost the assembly as well as parliament elections, the party out of frustration is alleging baseless, concocted and after thought accusations. He said PDP has also become frustrated due to the centre’s approval of Rs. 5500 crores annual plan for the state. Keeping in view the clean chit given by CBI to Omar Abdullah to the alleged allegation NC workers demand resignation of Mehbooba Mufti and Muzaffar Hussain Being from the assembly. NC workers also held a strong demonstration at Raghunath mandir chowk to show their anger and resentment against the alleged remarks and burnt the effigy of Mehbooba Mufti. Gupta, addressing the party activists and the media persons on the occasion condemning role of PDP termed the act of both Mehbooba Mufti and Muzaffar Hussain Beig as a block spot on democracy. He said that the act of PDP president in the assembly on Monday is not only undemocratic but against the standard rules of the house. Prominent among those who spoke S.S.
