BHADARWAH, JULY 28 – Sub Divisional Magistrate, Bhadarwah, Mr. Kalyan Singh Parihar today convened a meeting of officers of various departments to finalize the arrangements for celebration of Independence Day.
It was decided that Government Higher Secondary School, Bhaderwah where the main function will be held, will be given a face lift and made ready by August 13. V.I.P. will hoist the National Flag at 9.00 a.m. and take salute at the march past by contingents drawn from JKAP, NCC, boys and girls and tiny platoons from government/private schools. Besides, cultural programmes will be performed by the students of various schools. The day will start with the playing of shehnai vadan by Information Department, Bhaderwah in the morning.
The meeting was attended by Tehsildar, Dr. Shabir Hussain Keen, ASP Bhaderwah Mr. T. R. Katoch, CO, 4-RR, CO, CRPF 113-Bn, ZEO, Principals of Boys and Girls Higher Secondary School, Bhaderwah, Principal of Higher secondary School, Sartingal Mr. Altaf Ahmed Khan and various officers of other departments.
