Udhampur, July 29- One day signature campaign on “Say No to Polythene bags” was conducted in the premises of District Hospital, Udhampur. The campaign has been being organized by the State Pollution Control Board in collaboration with a Non Governmental Organization (NGO) ‘Support’ Jammu here today.
District Pollution Control Officer, Udhampur, T.S. Chib, Deputy Superintendent District Hospital Udhampur, Dr. Arun Sharma, Chairperson NGO, Support, Navneet Kour, Medicos, Para Medicos and general public signed in support of the campaign. The members of NGO also educated the general masses about the campaign and called upon them to not use polythene bags to keep the environment pollution free.
