| Speaker behaving indecently: PDP | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, July 29- Coming down heavily on the Speaker Legislative Assembly Mohammed Akbar Lone for harassing and using derogatory and unparliamentarily language against leader of the opposition in the House and PDP President Mehbooba Mufti and senior PDP leader Moulana Iftikhar Hussian Ansari, PDP leader Prof. Shohab Inayat Malik today advised the Chief Minister to replace the Speaker if he wants the House to function smoothly and as per the norms.
In a statement Prof Shohab, while criticizing the Speaker for adopting callous attitude and using unparliamentarily language against opposition, said, “this unparliamentarily act gives a wrong message to the public who have sent their representatives to raise their just voice for development and prosperity and not to insult this institution by making a mockery of it” he said adding further that government should ask Speaker to behave properly otherwise he should be replaced immediately.
Prof. Shohab further said that this type of drama cannot make the Chief Minister to escape the reality which he has to face in this assembly session. “These types of political stunts are not worth to hide the truths from the public and if the CM has done something positive he should face this session but the truth is he does not want to be exposed before the public,” he added.
