Jammu, Jul 29- A fresh batch of 502 pilgrims, including 92 women, five children and 77 Sadhus, today left for Amarnath cave shrine in South Kashmir Himalayas amid tight security cover, an official spokesman said.
A caravan of 13 vehicles, including 10 State Road Transport Corporation buses, a private bus and two LMVs left the Yatri Bhawan here at wee hours, the spokesman added.
The two-month-long Amaranth pilgrimage started from shorter Baltal route on June 15, after a week's delay from the schedule, while the traditional Pahalgam-Chandanwari route was opened for yatris on June 26.
