| Khajuria flags off third batch of Budha Amarnath Yatra | | | Early Times Report Jammu, July 29- BJP State president and MLA Ashok Khajuria, along with senior advocate B.S. Salathia and BJP State secretary yudhvir Sethi today flagged off third batch of Shri Buddha Amarnath Yatra from Ved Mandir, the base camp of the yatra. This yatra is organized by Bajrang Dal every year and free langers are organized at Sunderbani, Rajouri, Mandi and Poonch for the pilgrims. The Buddha Amarnath Yatra, which commenced on July 27, will culminate on August 3. A total of 975 pilgrims, including women and children from Andhra Pradesh, Awadh, Uttrakhand and other parts of India left from the base camp in a fleet of 21 vehicles to Poonch district early in the morning amidst heavy security. Khajuria while speaking on the occasion appreciated the initiatives of Bajrang Dal in popularizing the pilgrimage of Buddha Amarnath Yatra since last five years. Vinayanak Rao Deshpande, VHP International Joint Secretary, Prakesh Sharma, National Convernor Bajrang Dal, Nand Kishore Sharma, State Convenor of Bajrang Dal and a number of prominent citizens were also present on the occasion.
