| JMC public health and sanitation committee holds meet | | | Early Times Report Jammu, July 29: Various points were taken up for detailed deliberation in the 35th meeting of public health and sanitation standing committee of Jammu municipal corporation (JMC) chaired by its chairman Satish Sharma here today. As per JMC handout it was decided that persons shall be provided for collection of sanitation charges in respect of door-to-door collection of garbage from different wards of the corporation on the request of concerned councilor. It was decided that matter in respect of enhancement of wages of NGO labours will be considered as per analogy of Nallah Gang labours. On the occasion chairman suggested for purchase of 1.50 more wooden reharies from the suppliers on the previous approved rates for further distributing in the wards for sanitation purpose. Among other who were present in the meeting were ex-chairman and members and officers of JMC.
