Leh, July 30: To finalize the programmes of Ladakh festival 2009 and to frame committees for its preparation a meeting of district officers was held under the chairmanship of deputy commissioner, Ajeet Kumar Sahu here today.
The agendas of the meeting included change of tune for music concerts from polo-grounds to Sindhu Ghat, constitution of committees, development of Sindhu Ghat, holding a special programme on Kharak Chhenmo, theatre show, photo exhibition, slide shows, film shows, thanka exhibition, monastic mask dances, camel safari, horse traders, agriculture exhibitions, food stalls, polo-match, holding of two day Nobra festival, two days Korzok festival, archery festival etc.
Like every year, this year too, Festival will be held from Ist of September to 15th of September, 2009.
The Deputy Commissioner urged the district officers to take interest in order to make the festival a grand success.
