| Omar Abdullah’s resignation sat an example: SSA | | | Early Times Report Jammu, July 30: The J&K Sikh societies amalgamate (SSA) in a meeting have said that submitting of resignation from chief ministership by Omar Abdullah has uphold the moral values in public life beside sat an example in Indian polity. In a meeting of SSA chaired by its chief patron, Sardar Gurdeep Singh Sasan, termed the developments in the J&K assembly as very unfortunate and has stopped the progress of the state to a large extent. Sasan said, one fails to understand why Muzaffar Hussain Beig who himself was deputy chief minister holding change of law ministry (2006) gave clean chit to Omar. Now after thoughts allegations leveled against Omar Abdullah are leveled with mollified intention and nefarious designs as PDP is doing all this drama out of frustration, as Omar’s popularity is gaining momentum day to day. He said this action of PDP is totally political bankruptcy and mookery of democracy and cautioned the people of the state to be aware of the nefarious designs of PDP which believes in disruptive politics. He urged upon the people to strong then the hands of Omar for over all development of all the three regions of the state. Others who also spoke were Prithpal Singh, Nain Singh, Surinder Singh, Baldev Singh, Satpal Singh, Jagtar Singh, G.S. Dutta and Amarjeet Singh etc.
