Jammu July 31: A thirty year old youth was knocked to death by an over speedy truck at Gangyal late last night.
Official sources said that a youth was knocked to death when he was hit by a speeding truck at Gangyal. Police rushed to the spot and shifted the victim who was lying in the pool of blood to GMC Jammu where he was declared as brought dead.
The deceased has been identified as Joginder Pal age about 30 years son of Hukam Chand resident of Ramnagar .The body after conducting legal formalities was handed over to his legal heirs for last rites. However, police is on foot to nab the absconding driver of the vehicle.
