| 10 KAS officers transferred | | Angurana Chairman of J&KST | | Early Times Report
Jammu, July 31: Upon retirement of two IAS officers, BL Nimesh Khalid Habib, the government has given additional charge of the Chairman Jammu and Kashmir Special Tribunal to Principal Secretary PHE and Irrigation AK Angurana while Farooq Ahmed Peer, Secretary in the Home Department has been given additional charge of Secretary to Government, Labour and Employment Department.
Until today, BL Nimesh was the Chairman of J&K Special Tribunal and Khalid Habib had the charge of Labour and Employment department. Both IAS officers retired on superannuation today.
Meanwhile, in three separate orders, the government has ordered transfers and postings of ten KAS officers.
Bashir Ahmad Bhat, awaiting orders of adjustment in the General Administration Department has been transferred and posted as Special Secretary, Housing and Urban Development /ex-officio Chief Executive Officer, SUIDA against an available vacancy.
Talat Parvez, Chief Executive Officer, Tourism Development Authority, Bhaderwah has been transferred and posted as Additional Secretary, Information Technology Department and ex-officio Chief Executive Officer, Jammu and Kashmir e-Governance Agency in place of Parvez Iqbal Khateeb, who will continue as Deputy Commissioner, Commercial Taxes (Headquarter).
Sub-Divisional Magistrate, Bhaderwah shall hold the additional charge of the post of Chief Executive Officer, Tourism Development Authority, Bhaderwah till further orders.
Nissar Ahmad Wani, KAS, Deputy Secretary to Government, Revenue Department is transferred and posted as Special Assistant to Minister of State for Haj and Auqaf, Fisheries, Social Welfare, Rural Development, Law and Parliamentary Affairs, Animal Husbandry and Hospitality and Protocol Departments with immediate effect.
Mussarat Islam, KAS, Deputy Director, Information (Central) in the Directorate of Information is transferred and posted as Special Assistant to Minister of State for Housing and Urban Development, PHE, Tourism, Revenue and Relief departments. The order further said that Mussarat Islam’s posting with the MoS as Special Assistant shall be deemed to have taken effect since July 16.
Sheikh Mukhtar Husain, Deputy Secretary, Finance Department has been transferred and posted as Deputy Secretary, J&K Public Service Commission.
Babila Rakwal, Deputy Secretary, J&K Service Selection Board has been transferred and posted as Deputy Secretary, Health and Medical Education Department.
Dr. G. N. Itoo, Deputy Secretary in the Chief Minister’s Secretariat has been transferred and posted as Special Assistant to the Minister for Social Welfare, ARI and Trainings and Public Grievances.
Dr. Firdous Ahmad Giri, Deputy Secretary, Health and Medical Education Department has been transferred and posted as Deputy Secretary, Finance Department.
Bashir Ahmad Lone, Deputy Secretary, J&K Public Service Commission has been transferred and posted ad Deputy Secretary in the Chief Minister’s Secretariat in his own pay and grade.
