| Warm welcome to Akhoon in Jammu | | |

Jammu, August 1: The minister for transport and food & supplies Qamar Ali Akhoon received warm welcome from the workers of National Conference on his first visit to winter capital after becoming the minister in Omar Abdullah coalition cabinet.
Addressing the workers, Akhoon said he would come upto their expectations and will work hard to streamline the working of transport and supply deptt which are really a challenge before him.
While welcoming prominent party chief Rattan Lal Gupta praises the qualities of Akhoon and apprises the minister about the problems people of Jammu are facing.
On the occasion MLA Rachpal Singh, Sheikh Bashir Ahmed, Laxmi Datta, Sardar Surinder Singh Bunty, Satpal Lakhotra, Mohinder Gupta, SS Jamwal, Kashmir singh, Abdul Gani, Karuna and Pinky Bhat etc. also addressed the function.
