Leh, August 1: To make people aware about the NREGA and implementation of this programme in its true spirit the rural development department Nyoma conducted mass awareness camp in each and every panchayat Holga of the block.
During the awareness camp, the block development officer, Nymoa and other functionaries made aware the people about right and basic home work, time bound guarantee, women empowerment, works site facility, labour incentive work, decentralized planning, public accountability and transparency, employment opportunities for the rural work force etc. A large number of people attended the camp in every panchayat Halga of the block.
