| Raj Tilak ceremony of Mahamandleshwar Swami Vishwatma | | | Early Times Report
Srinagar, Aug 01- To mark the Raj Tilak ceremony of Mahamandleshwar Swami Vishwatma Nand, a colorful function was held at Dachnami Akhara, Poonch yesterday in which thousands of people participated.
Minister for Medical Education R. S. Chib along with MLA, Poonch, Ajaz Jan, and MLC, Jehangir Mir were also present on the occasion.
While offering his congratulations to Mahamandleshwar Swami Vishwatma Nand on this auspicious occasion Chib said that this is a historical event for the people of our state in general and people of Poonch in particular. He further said that the Gaddi of Dachnami Akhara Poonch is a historical place and all those connected with this Gaddi have played a vital role to preserve Hindu-Muslim-Sikh unity in the area.
Later, Chib chaired a meeting of the District Officers in Poonch and inquired about the difficulties faced by them in their respective departments. He advised the officers to give a patient hearing to the problems of the people and work with dedication so that the problems of the people can be solved at the earliest.
Chib also paid obeisance at the Budda Amarnath Temple and interacted with the devotees who had come there in large numbers for Darshan of Budda Amarnath Temple.
