| Sewa Bharti organizes workshop on environment awareness | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Aug 1: To make youth and children aware about the environment and its effect on mother earth, NGO, Jammu Sewa Bharti today organized a day long workshop on environment in collection with forest department here today. The workshop was attended by large number of students drawn from various schools of region. The conservators of forest (seed wing) was chief guest, while or Kuldeep Raj Gupta presided over it. Welcoming the guest Dr.Gupta gave full account of working of Sewa Bharti on appealed youths to take responsibility of saving mother earth. He said sudden shift in environment is due to degradation in human values as every individual at present has became selfish that he forgot to keep eco system clean
He said planting or more trees during the rainy season and public awareness regarding environment needs public awareness. A plantation drive program also took place in Sewa Bharti complex and adjoining areas. Plants were distributed free of cost to all participants.
