| 3 dead, three injured in road mishaps | | | Early Times Report Jammu August 01 Three persons died and other seventeen were injured in different road accidents during last 24 hours in Jammu region, police said. Police said that in an accident which took place at main road Greater Kailash between Tanker and Motorcycle (PB-35K/0274) resulting on spot death of motorcyclist namely Gulzar Singh S/o Shamsher Singh R/o Dablehar. The body of the deceased is kept in mortuary and the Police has registered a case in police station Gangyal. Meanwhile the body of one Rajinder Singh 20 years S/o Buta Masih R/o Grudaspur Punjab was brought to GMC Jammu who was run over by train falling under the jurisdiction of police post Railway Bari Brahmna whereas body identified as Kartar Dass S/o Anand Lal R/o Birpur was found at KM 89.4 falling under the jurisdiction of police post GRP Bari Brahmna is also kept in GMC mortuary. Police sources further added that two person were injured when truck (JK02D/6825) on its way from Jammu to Srinagar hit one alto car (JK01K/1025) at Jalebi Mord National Highway Kud, resulting injuries to two passengers who were travelling in alto car. Injured were shifted to CHC Chenani for treatment. Police has registered a case in police Station Kud. In another road mishap one Tipper on way from Makerkote to Ukhral hit one boy namely Naveed-ul-Rehman 16 years S/o Ajaz Ahmad R/o Hewagan Tehsil Banihal Ramban. Injured shifted to PHC Ukhral for treatment. Driver however escaped from the accident scene along with vehicle. Police has registered a case in Police Station Banihal.
