| Smallest batch of pilgrims leave for Amarnath | | | Early Times Report Jammu, Aug 1 The Smallest batch of 181 Amarnath pilgrims registered till today left for the Shri Amarnath cave shrine in South Kashmir Himalayas amid tight security cover, an official spokesman said. Spokesperson said that pilgrims left for their onward journey to Shrine in a convoy of six State Road Transport Corporation buses carrying smallest batch of Amarnath Yatris during pilgrimage this year till today. There were 16 women, seven children and 50 Sadhus in the batch. Two-month-long Amaranth pilgrimage started from shorter Baltal route on June 15, after a week delay from the schedule, while the traditional Pahalgam-Chandanwari route was opened for Yatris on June 26. The pilgrimage concludes on the Shravan Poornima, the Rakshabandhan day.
