Teenagers held with 14 cellphones, 403 recharge cards

Jammu, Aug 1: Two teenage boys, carrying 14 mobile phones and 403 recharge coupons worth Rs 10,000, were apprehended by Army troops yesterday at Banihal in Ramban district of Jammu and Kashmir, an official spokesman today said.
Spokesperson said, ''A road opening party (ROP) of Rashtriya Rifles (RR) yesterday apprehended two local boys, identified as Prabat Singh, 15-16 years, son of Gulal Singh and Mohan Singh, 10-12 years, son of Chain Singh, resident of Ramban, both resident of Ramban, from NH-1A, five kilometers from Banihal town.
The patrolling team recovered 14 Mobile Phones, 403 Recharge coupons worth Rs 10,000, 27 Mobile Batteries, 13 Mobile Chargers, eight ear phones set and three Data Cables from their possession.
Later, both the boys were handed over to state police, the spokesman informed.
